Laura Svatek

Laura Svatek

CPA, CMA, CFM, CBM

Laura Svatek, CPA, CMA, CFM, CBM is a busy accountant, wife, mother of four, and volunteer. The letters behind her name speak to how active Laura is in her life and her community. An accountant by day, Laura began her career at Jockey International, Inc. and is now with Deublin Company, LLC as an Accounting Manager. Laura attended the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Her talents extend beyond her life as an accountant.

By night and weekend, Laura’s family has steered her direction as a volunteer. Her three sons (including two eagle scouts and one in progress) and husband are active in Scouts and thus it’s no surprise she’s the troop’s Treasurer. She’s also an active member on their charter school’s K-8 and high school Governance Boards. Laura’s avid community involvement doesn’t stop there: she’s organized meals for the Supermileage Vehicle Club races, chaired the annual craft fair at the K-8 school, and coordinated the K-8 school’s monthly movie nights. Laura finds getting involved creates many mutually beneficial relationships that create a better community.

With the time Laura has left for herself, you’ll find her knitting, gardening, and exploring with her husband and their two Shiba Inus. Laura is thrilled to be a member of the Board of Directors for the Friends of Plum Media and hopes her financial and educational background will be useful as she guides the Friends of Plum Media efforts.
